Our name "COLLINES
DE LA MOURE" comes from an area spreading from
Pézenas to Montpellier. At the present time we still
have more than 40 hectares planted with typical regional varieties
: Cinsault, Grenache and Carignan.
Several Carignan planted in 1932 produce astonishingly aromatic
and well balanced wines. Between 1977 and 1979 we replanted
some of our land (as many other Languedocian wine producers
looking for quality varietals) with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

THE
RED WINES are a result of blending all these varieties.
Supple and fruity, they express the regional personality and
can be drunk in the first year after harvesting.
THE ROSÉS
WINES are elaborated from Cinsault and have aromas of
strawberry and raspberry - an ideal "summer wine".
THE WHITE
WINES from Marsanne and Bourboulenc are lively wines and
delicious with seafood.

We also product each year a wine made from one single grape variety
as Cabernet Sauvignon and the famous white Nonenque made nearly exclusively
of Viognier.
White Nonenque
This wine, named ' Les 10 arpents de Frère Nonenque' is dedicated
to a monk who was the Cellar man of the abbey in the XVI th century.
It is a blend of Viognier and Marsanne, rich of flavour and full of
freshness.
It is well appropriated to drink as aperitif and with oysters, shells,
barbecue grilled fish....
Red Nonenque
This Red White, also dedicated to the monk 'Nonenque', is an opportunity
to promote a grape which has been forgotten for more than a hundred
years: 'the Morrastel'.
This very ancient grape has been used in the past in Valmagne, but
as is quite fragile and very delicate to grow. It does bring a lot
of flavour when used in blends.
With Grenache and Carignan, the morrastel gives a very charming wine,
full of personality and fruit flavours.
We recommend drinking this wine with barbecue, light meals and salads
